A Success Story

Just wanting to blow the DI horn a little with a tale of a shared ownership success story.

We just reached finalization on our part of a deal we’re very proud to have helped put together, and which we feel is a good example of the type of creativity we bring to the deal-making table.

In the summer of 2006 we were approached by a couple with a long time frame wanting to eventually find and purchase a fractionally owned acreage in the Tahoe area. We advertised with a ‘Sellers Wanted’ approach, and found a family with riverfront acreage seeking a partner to build their dream home. While we are still hoping to find the right opportunity for our original property seekers, we have now successfully found a family to partner with the people who own the riverfront land. They are in the process of designing and seeking approvals for the construction of a shared vacation home overlooking the river.

We feel that this is a good example of DI’s committment to bringing people together to create opportunities that otherwise would not be available.
