Create a profile for you and your dream property by opening a free DreamMatch Account. Our system will help match you with other potential co-ownership opportunities. You can also browse available MLS listings in the Tahoe area and let us know which properties you would be interested in sharing with co-owners and we'll try to find them to purchase the property. Here's how our process works in a nutshell:
- Open a free DreamMatch Account and set preferences for your dream property.
- Search for properties from the entire Tahoe MLS (including Truckee). Take note of their MLS number.
- If you find dream homes and want to consider buying one fractionally with partners, contact us by sending their MLS numbers.
- We'll register you and gather information to match you with the right co-owners.
- Pre-qualify for financing through one of our preferred lending partners or lender of your choice.
- We'll advertise that your chosen dream home(s) are registered to find other buyers interested in purchasing the same.
- Once we've found qualified co-buyers and have enough to complete a deal, we contact all co-buyers, draft a tenancy in common agreement for the group, draft their separate purchase offers on the property, and negotiate the group's joint purchase agreement for the property.
- When a deal has been struck with the property owner we open escrow, set up the desired level of management and other services, and ensure that all paperwork is in order to close escrow on time.
- When escrow closes, each buyer receives their own deeded interest to their share of the property. All new owners will have successfully purchased a fractional vacation home.
